Reliable Searches
Let's face it: Google is easy to use.
But it's loaded with many irrelevant, unreliable, untrustworthy websites.
Here is one way to conduct "safer" and more academic-friendly Google searches:
Take advantage of site domain limiters to limit your searches only to those domains that usually yield more reliable, scholarly search results.
This will yield search results limited only to those domains ending in .edu. This doesn't necessarily mean you can use just any search result website ending in .edu, but only that your search result set will likely have a higher proportion of relevant/academic websites. You still have evaluate the resources and websites you come upon for their suitability in research.
